Category:A arts, culture and humanities nonprofit. Mission Statement: The clearwater arts alliance is a creative catalyst that passionately advocates for the arts and cultivates cultural expression and opportunities for all in clearwater. Here are some of the key programs we worked on last year: - Program 1: Thinking outside the box (an art-wrapped signal box project): we work with local visual artists to turn traffic signal boxes into bold works of art. with 30 installations across downtown clearwater, clearwater beach, and surrounding areas, the project brings creativity to the streets and sparks visual engagement throughout the community. - Program 2: Arts advocacy: we partner with local governments, businesses, and fellow arts organizations to drive public art initiatives and invest in creative activities that enrich the clearwater community. - Program 3: Arts education: we collaborate with local organizations to create arts education opportunities across pinellas county. this includes funding for student art exhibitions and musical performances, special project funding for arts teachers in clearwater, and participation in events like the annual principals' appreciation breakfast that highlights arts education efforts within pinellas county.
